110 m.p.h.

Updated: Jan 9

I am delighted to announce that “110 m.p.h.” is in production now and will be performed at the Nuffield Theatre Southampton on 25 + 27 February.

“110 m.p.h.” is a spoken word project with film. It tells the true story of a mother who reaches breaking point after being hurt in a car crash. Can love for her children save her and bring joy back into their lives?

“110 m.p.h.” is an emotional story with unexpected twists and turns and as for the ending… that’s unexpected, too.

I am honoured to be working with Paul Bevan on this project. Paul is a renowned photographer/film maker with great expertise, especially in music – he’s photographed pretty much every music festival you can think of and everyone from Kate Tempest to David Byrne. He’s a dab hand with drone cinematography. A small sample of Paul’s massive library of work is on his Instagram page @Paul_bevanmusicphotos

Here’s a snap I took of Paul when we were on location at Southampton’s nightclub, The Edge.
